This fine French striking and repeating carriage clock is in a silvered and gilt case by Maurice and Co. of Paris.

The oval case has finely executed fretwork of flowers and leaves, silvered and gilt, with reeded columns and Corinthian capital. The silvered dished dial has Arabic numerals and fleur-de-lys hands. This is truly an exhibition piece.
